Review and Reflection workshop organized

On 24 and 25 May 2022, a consortium level Annual Review and Reflection workshop was organized at Nepalgunj under the POWER-II project. The objective of the workshop was to review and reflect on the plan vs progress from July 2021 to May 2022. Executive representatives and project staff from the consortium members (ADRA, LWF, INF, and Caritas) and its partners as well as Women Human Rights Defenders (WHRDs) participated enthusiastically. The target vs progress, learnings, challenges, impacts/success stories, good practices, and ways forward were highlighted with experience sharing, group discussion, and presentation. Meanwhile, consortium members and partners prepared and presented the plan for year-2 (July 2022-June 2023) based on the learnings, recommendations, and ways forward as well. The representatives of Australian counterparts participated virtually and provided guidance.

The POWER-II project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) which implementing by ADRA Nepal, LWF, INF, and Caritas in partnership with local district partners from July 2021 in 18 districts of Nepal aiming to advance the position of women in Nepal to effectively contribute to good governance and inclusive development.
