ADRA Nepal invites applications from qualified and experienced Nepalese Citizens for the following vacant positions:


1)    Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning Officer One Position

Station: based in Country Office, Sanepa, Lalitpur

MEAL Officer will work as part of MoFA Japan-funded project to assist the Project Manager and Coordinator for effective planning, monitoring, and evaluation including reporting. This position will support the program unit to ensure the result-based monitoring, evaluation and operationalization of project. S/he will have a key assisting role in improving the quality of result tracking and reporting. MEAL Officer is expected to support PNGO to capacitate the staff members with M&E competencies and skills. S/he will directly assist the Project Coordinator and District/PNGO team for all tasks related to MEAL aspects of the project. S/he will also support to Associate Director-Health and M&E Manager for project reporting and networking. MEAL Officer is expected to spent 40% time in project district and 60% time in the KTM office.


Qualification and Competencies:

·       Bachelor in Nursing/ Public health or a nutrition related field (Master’s degree is preferred) from a recognized university; minimum 3-5 year’s work experience working in public health programs/project; working experience in I/NGOs and multi-donor agencies preferred; flexible and open to learning & new experiences; good interpersonal, networking and communication skills; competent in databases and other analysis software like SPSS; analytical and strategic; results and action oriented.

2)  Finance and Administration Officer – One Position

Station: based in Bardiya district with frequent field travel

FAO will work as part of MoFA Japan-funded project to support the Project Coordinator for overall administrative and financial management of the project and oversee standard budgeting, accounting, reporting, and internal control duties. H/she will ensure that program assets (financial and physical) are safeguarded and facilitate financial efficiency; responsible for maintaining HR records, inventory register and supplying the equipment and other logistics to target areas (communities and health facilities).


Qualification and Competencies:

§  Bachelor of business studies or business administration (master’s degree is desirable) from a recognized university; minimum 3 years of working experience in I/NGOs and multi-donor agencies (health projects); knowledge of Sun System Accounting Software is an additional advantage; office management, staff management, basic financial management and procurement management; good understanding of the laws of Nepal related to tax, insurance; Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in teams and self-management skills; Experience of working closely with government health sector ; Self-motivated and capable of managing work independently
