स्वस्थ समुदायहरू निर्माण गर्दै
Health is at the heart of so much of the world’s poverty and suffering. When communities lack enough food, depend on unsafe water sources, or have no access to reliable health support, every life suffers.
In healthy communities, healthcare workers are trained; facilities are well equipped; essential medicines and family planning are accessible; and clean drinking water and nutritious food are available and consumed. People understand their health choices and make informed decisions that benefit their families’ well-being. Harmful stigma and practices are dispelled so all can benefit from improved healthcare.

Health Reform Project
The Health Reform Project, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan, tackles child malnutrition and public health concerns in Bardiya, Nepal. This 3-year initiative aims to reform the health status of residents through sustainable nutrition and an improved water sanitation environment using multifaceted approaches such as improving administrative governance, infrastructure development and increasing awareness of local people and government employees, leading to a healthier Bardiya.
UNFPA Project
2025
The UNFPA Project 2025 is working with the UNFPA and the government to strengthen and improve the health system. The project consists of 3 elements: 1) Supply chain strengthening from policy guideline to forecasting of health commodities, procurement capacity building, to overall logistics management. 2) Improving Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Services through enabling the workforce, waste care management and information management to ensure high-quality services are being provided and also to increase awareness and service utilization by adolescents. 3) The IMPACT Project, which is working to ensure a continuum of care for women and newborns during disasters and critical climate conditions by improving physical infrastructure and management capacity of selected health facilities.
मातृ स्वास्थ्य र बाल पोषण परियोजना
The Maternal, Neonatal, Child Health and Nutrition Project, funded by ADRA Netherlands and ADRA International is improving health outcomes for young children and pregnant and lactating mothers in the Mahottari and Sarlahi district of Madhesh Province, where there are high levels of malnutrition. Through this project, we are providing technical assistance at the national and provincial levels and strengthening screening and growth monitoring services at the local level. This project is implemented to uplift the demand as well as the supply side of the MNCHN services through deputing Community Health Facilitators as well as care group volunteers. We are also educating community-level mother groups about nutrition and breastfeeding. This project is collaborating with the local agriculture sector to improve access to diverse, locally available foods for impoverished, food-insecure, and vulnerable households.
