ADRA Nepal has successfully completed the renovation and construction of a new four-classroom building at Shree Ganesh Bharati Secondary School, Banepa-12, Kavre. The initiative aims to strengthen the learning environment for students by providing safe, modern, and child-friendly infrastructure. The construction was made possible through the financial support of ADRA Korea.



The new building, constructed using eco-panel technology, offers a durable and well-equipped space designed to enhance teaching and learning outcomes. The four classrooms include a library, e-library, computer room, and smart board lab.
The official handover ceremony took place inNovember 2025, attended by:
- Mr. Shanti Ratna Shakya, Mayor, Banepa Municipality
- Mr. Tom Pignon, Country Director, ADRA Nepal
- Mr. Ram Bahadur Kunwar, Ward Chairperson
School Management Committee members, PTA representatives, Teachers, students, construction company, Sharp Line Solutions Pvt. Ltd and ADRA staff also attended the event.
During the ceremony, the building was formally handed over to the Municipality. ADRA Nepal also provided eight desktop computers to support the school’s ICT-based learning initiatives. Students performed cultural dances, adding colour and energy to the program.
School Principal Premraj Sharma expressed his deep appreciation, noting the school’s longstanding 20-year partnership with ADRA Nepal through the sponsorship program.
He shared:
“Working in such a new school building with attractive facilities is one of the greatest experiences of my life. It is a matter of pride for all of us. We are committed to ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of this building. The school looks beautiful and welcoming, and we are very grateful to ADRA Nepal.”
