Runtigadhi rural municipality of Rolpa and Swargadwari municipality of Pyuthan have initiated of preparing strategic document on Production Pocket and Market Linkages. Both the municipalities have conducted a study regarding on Production Pocket and Market Linkage to promote expansion of agriculture and livestock business in the respective area. ADRA Nepal through its Good Governance and Livelihood (GOAL) Project, has been lending support to the municipalities for the preparation of the strategic document on the same.
Workshops were conducted in Holeri of Rolpa and Bhingri of Pyuthan districts on 19 and 20 May respectively to share the finding of the study conducted from February to March 2019.
Mr. Krishna Sapkota, a lead consultant of the study presented the details of findings of study in agriculture and livestock sector. On the occasions, chairpersons of the municipalities had expressed to integrate and implement the recommendations of the study.
