A two- day training on ‘gender responsive planning and budgeting’ was held in Runtigadhi Rural Municipality on 27- 28 April 2019 under GOAL/POWER Project.
The training was organized to orient municipality officials and elected representatives on gender issues. A total of 22 persons participated in the training.
Among the participants of were municipality chairperson, deputy chairperson, CEO, ward chairperson, executive members, planning and section officers, women and child officer.
During the concluding session of the training, municipality officials expressed commitments to developing GESI policy and sensitizing ward level staffs and communities on gender issue.
