Two separate trainings on Gender Analysis Tools for women activists were was held in Swargadwari municipality of Pyuthan and Runtigadhi rural municipality of Rolpa respectively from 21 to 22 November and 4 to 5 December 2019. A total 36 women activists, 2 from each ward attended the two-day training. The objective of training was to capacitate them on the application of gender analysis tools for identifying the gender issues.
The activists are the volunteers working in all wards of two local governments under Generating Opportunities and Livelihoods (GOAL-II) and they will be mobilized in community for raising awareness on gender equality and gender violence as well as supporting the violence survivors.
GOAL -II is a five year project funded by Australian Government and ADRA Australia and implemented by ADRA Nepal in Runtigadhi rural municipality Rolpa and Swargadwari municipality of Pyuthan through local partners namely Rupantaran, FIRDO Nepal and RUDAS Nepal.
