ADRA Nepal conducted Training of Trainers on Rupantaran in Sarlahi and Rautahat district on 11th to 21st December 2018 under its health program funded UNFPA. Rupantaran is a social and financial skill package to empower adolescent girls.
A total of 40 participants were reached through this training in both districts, including social mobilisers and girl leaders form their respective area. It covered basic self-actualization to a practical knowledge on health, nutrition, human right, saving and credit. The training package aims to transform girls to motivator and change agent.
District Health Officer of Rautahat expressed his happiness to have this program in his district and expressed that the program best fits in the context of Rautahat district.
