ADRA Nepal handed over relief materials to 300 households who became homeless due to the recent flooding and inundation. The relief materials including tarpaulin, kitchen set, shelter kit and food items were handed over to 150 households in Baluwa Municipality-10 Leuri of Mahottari district in collaboration with local level Nepal police, and volunteers and co-partnership with Caritas Germany and Community Development & Advocacy Forum Nepal (CDAFN). Similarly relief materials were also handed over to 150 more households in  Balara Municipality ward number-7 Gadahiya of Sarlahi district. Due to massive flooding and inundation followed by heavy rainfall in Southern Nepal, at least 95 people have been confirmed dead, 10 thousand families have been displaced and around 17 thousand houses have been damaged since 12 July 2019, according to the data from various sources.
