ADRA Nepal in partnership with Center for Disaster Studies (CDS), Institute of Engineering and National Disaster Risk Reduction Center (NDRC) organized Consultation Meeting with donors and government officials on 16 October 2017 in Kathmandu for the scoping study of Nepal Urban Resilience Project.
The event was funded by Department for International Development (DFID). During the event, the study team shared preliminary finding on Nepal Urban Resilience, based on donors and government officials' visit, secondary data analysis. Discussion was also conducted among participants on future agendas regarding the same.
There was presence of delegates from different donors agencies such USAID, UNDP, and INGOs working in Nepal. Ms. Eleanor Baindridge, Infrastructure Advisor (DESA) from DFID Nepal shared her opinions regarding Nepal Urban Resilience Project on behalf of DFID Nepal.
