Good Mother - in – law

Mrs. Siya Devi Sah, a 65 years old lady came to IFPSC with her daughter-in-law Mrs. Arati Sah, 22 years old for the IUCD insertion. Mrs. Siya had good knowledge about the family planning. She has done minilap after having five children. She was told that having many children is difficult for food, shelter and even education. She was also told that after minilap I would be able to control further pregnancies and was satisfied with the family planning methods so she has brought Mrs. Arati who did not know about the family planning methods. She was told that she would make an informed choice for the IUCD because it has few side effects, non hormonal and can be used for 12 years. She also told us that Mrs. Arati havd two daughters and one son which is appropriate family planning and I have already discussed the methods. This made the Service provider much easier for further procedures. Client was cooperative and IUCD insertion procedure was done satisfactorily. Client like Mrs. Siya and Arati have given satisfaction to the service provider.
