Internal APLI Training on Security

Security being very sensitive and vital issue in Nepal in current scenario, to build capacity, skill and knowledge in security of concerned personnel, ADRA Nepal has conducted four days internal APLI training on ?Security? from 29th July 2008 till 1st of August 2008 at Hotel Greenwich in Kathmandu. We had included all concerned personnel from ADRA Nepal and responsible participants from our 7 Partner NGOs resulting total 36 participants in this training.
The training was facilitated by ADRA Nepal staff who had attended the APLI Security training in Thailand in April 2008. Due to the active participation of participants, sharing of best practices, trainer?s effort the training was a great success where the partner organization were also guided to develop a draft security plan for their organization.
