A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and ADRA Nepal on 10 Jan 2019 regarding an implementation of project in Banke district. The MoU gives mandate to ADRA Nepal to implement a project namely ‘Improvement of New Born and Child Health (IMNCH) Project in Banke district of Nepal for three years.
ADRA Nepal with the main of objective is to support in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by improving maternal, newborn and child health services, strengthening health systems, health governance in the decentralized structure and addressing deep-rooted inequities in Banke district of Nepal. The project is funded by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of Japan through ADRA Japan.
The MoU was signed by Mahendra Prasad Shrestha, Chief-Health Cooperation Division, MoHP and Yuba Raj Chaudhary, Acting Country Director, ADRA Nepal.
This project will be implemented in close coordination and collaboration with Provincial and local government, DPHO, HFs, local partner NGO, community level networks and volunteers.
