Team members of Good Governance and Livelihood (GOAL) Project make themselves busy in reviewing the progress and achievements and reflecting experiences in the city of Pokhara on 25 and 26 June as the project is all set to enter next stage namely GOAL-2.
The project implementers from ADRA Nepal, RUPANTARAN, FIRDO Nepal and RUDAS Nepal discuss best practices, and learning of the five year project and possible area to make improvement in GOAL 2.
The project aims to enhance resiliency of vulnerable communities through improved livelihood, strengthened leadership and sustainable environmental management in Pyuthan and Rolpa districts of province 5.
A total of 8914 people have been directly benefited through several activities such as capacity building, leadership and entrepreneurship training, kind and cash contribution for entrepreneurship, and climate change adaptation among other.
The project is funded by Australian Government through Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and ADRA Australia.
