ADRA Nepal under Good Governance and Livelihood (GOAL) project, with support of partner organizations, and Sworgadwari Municipality, Pyuthan have jointly initiated process of preparing strategic document on Production Pocket and Market Linkages. A joint kick-off workshop was organized in Bhingri, Pyuthan on January 11, 2019. The event was chaired by the Municipality and facilitated by GOAL project. During the workshop, Mr. Netra Bahadur Rokaya-Mayor, mentioned that this initiation would help the Municipality to identify the areas of actions in agriculture and livestock sector through production pocket approach. He further mentioned that the document will a guide for expansion of agriculture and livestock business and ultimately contributing to their livelihood enhancement. The study will continue for 2 months under leadership of experts. GOAL project is funded by Australian Government through Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and ADRA Australia.
