With more than 27 years of progressive professional experience working with Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Nepal handling senior management responsibilities in different portfolios, which include overall program management, planning and government and donor relations areas, Ms. Mahat has been working as a Program Director in ADRA Nepal since 2009. With expertise in Emergency Management/DRR, Livelihood, health, good governance and Education, she has experience working with various donors mainly DFID, USAID, European Commission, ECHO, UN funding (UNFPA, CERF, UN Peace Fund, Human Security Trust Fund and World Food Program), SWISS Solidarity, NORAD, Foundations and Government funding such as AusAid, Austrian Development Aid, Canadian Government, Japan and New Zealand Government. With Masters’ in Sociology from Nepal and MSA in International Community Development degree from Andrews University, USA she has extensive knowledge in planning, monitoring  and evaluating projects in aligned with the government policies and regulations.
