Study Title: “Facility Based Assessment for Reproductive Health Commodities and Services.”
The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is a global humanitarian organization with a mission to work with people in poverty and distress to create just and positive change. ADRA Nepal belongs to the worldwide ADRA network, comprised of 118 supporting and implementing country offices. ADRA’s five core sectors include Food Security; Health; Economic Growth; Education; and Emergency Management. ADRA Nepal employs a team of experienced staff that design, manage, and implements its programs in accordance with donor, ADRA policies, and requirements.
ADRA Nepal with financial support from UNFPA Nepal Country Office is now seeking a suitable research agency to undertake this survey in 2022. The objective of this survey is to assess the service availability, distribution and stock-out of essential lifesaving RH commodities, including contraceptives, and other key issues related to family planning service delivery at public, private and NGO sectors health facilities across the country. In addition to assessing the availability and stock out of RH commodities, the survey will address supply chain (including cold chain); staff training and supervision; availability of guidelines and protocols, Information Communication Technology, method of waste disposal and user fee. In addition, the survey will obtain the views of clients about the services. The survey will also collect necessary data to monitor progress on selected health system related indicators from NHSP III Results frameworks and FP2030 commitments.
ADRA Nepal invites Request for Proposal (RFP) from a Research agency or a group of small people, rather than an individual to apply. The research agency should have at least 2 years’ experience in managing research/survey/assessment at national and international level. The agency will have capacity to manage logistics, including equipment, materials, and personnel. The agency must have expertise in RH/FP and proven track record of working with government and external development partners.
Interested research agency should collect the Terms of Reference (ToR) from the address below not later than 29th July 2022. The deadline for submitting the RFP is 16:00 of 4th August 2022. The RFP must be submitted along with required documents to demonstrate intent and ability to undertake the assessment to the address below. In case the deadline for RFP collection/submission falls on public holidays, it shall automatically extend to the subsequent official day. Late submissions will not be accepted.
The Research Agency submitting RFP, MUST meet the requirements as mentioned in the ToR. Submission of false information and statements will disqualify the RFP.
RFP must be submitted in a “Sealed Envelope” clearly marked “Facility Based Assessment for Reproductive Health Commodities and Services 2022.”
- A proposal should have three (3) separate envelops:
- 1st for all the supporting documents;
- 2nd for technical proposal; and
- 3rd for financial proposal.
Each of the above envelopes should be sealed, and properly labelled respectively as “supporting documents,” “technical proposal” and “financial proposal.” All these three (3) envelopes then should be kept in another envelop sealed with wax.
