Five batches of Training of Trainers on Agro-based Business Education has been conducted to train staffs in Bhingri of Pyuthan and Holeri of Rolpa under Generating Opportunities and Livelihoods (GOAL-II) project.

The first batch of training participants trained rest of the batches on facilitation skills. 18 project staffs and 120 facilitators were trained on Business Education for Farmer Entrepreneurs. The training curriculum included subsistence versus commercial business, characteristics of entrepreneurs, self-realization and creativity, market and marketing, production and increasing of productivity, value chain and business plan, and risk mitigation measures of business among other.

These facilitators will be involved in facilitation of two and half month Business Education for Farmer Entrepreneurs in 120 farmers groups.

GOAL-II is a five-year project funded by Australian Government and ADRA Australia and implemented by ADRA Nepal in Runtigadhi rural municipality Rolpa and Swargadwari municipality of Pyuthan through local partners namely Rupantaran, FIRDO Nepal and RUDAS Nepal.
