A start-up meeting of Local Initiatives to Reduce Impacts of Climate Change (LIRIC) project is being held from 3 March to 6 March in the town of Bardibas of Mahottari district to roll out project management plan. LIRIC, the 42-moth Civil Society Organization (CSO) engagement project is implemented in Bardibas, Gaushala, Aurahi and Bhangaha municipalities of Mahottari district and Bateshwor and Mithila rural municipalities of Dhanusha district with an objective of enhancing resilience of poor and vulnerable communities to climate change impacts. The meeting discusses detail implementation plan, approaches, compliance issues, monitoring and evaluation and partnership harmonization among other. The project is funded by the European Union  and Austrian Development Agency and implemented by ADRA through Community Development and Advocacy Forum Nepal and Rupantaran.
