Project Background
The project aims to improve the health of women and adolescent girls impacted by uterine prolapse from four districts of Nepal through strengthened health systems. It facilitates clinical capacity development, community education and behaviour change interventions.

Individual: 225 women for Uterine Prolapse surgeries, 6000 reached for other health services
Goal of the project
Improve the health of Terai women and girls and enable them to lead productive lives in their families and wider community.
Major Outcomes
- Health system and clinical support strengthened in the local hospital
- Access to effective and safe surgery and post-operative care for all women and girls diagnosed with uterine prolapse suitable for surgery attending the hospital
- Health education/behaviour change addressed at least 10 targeted communities each year
