Project Background
The “Family Planning Service Strengthening Programme” is locally branded by UNFPA Nepal which is funded through a thematic trust fund UNFPA Supplies, a five years initiatives that aims to help government of Nepal achieve SDG 3 and SDG 5 by strengthening family planning service delivery and increasing access to and the use of quality family planning services, particularly focusing on populations with high unmet need and those farthest behind; improving the quality of family planning services, including counseling; and enhancing the capacity and competency of health workers by providing training, post training follow up, supportive supervision, coaching and mentoring; strengthening the logistics management information system and FP commodity support.
