A total of 2228 people have taken family planning services in the Family Planning camps conducted in Rautahat and Sarlahi districts.
 
ADRA Nepal conducted Family Planning camps in 4 different sites of Rautahat district in coordination with the District Health Office. The camps were conducted in Bijaypur Laxminiya, Tengraha, Rangpur and Prempur. The sites are decided on the basis of need such as low Contraceptive Prevalence Rate (CPR), population of adolescents group, access of health centers by adolescents.
 
The services provided in the camp site included five temporary and long acting reversible contraceptives along with comprehensive family planning counseling regarding all seven modern family planning methods.
A total of 1134 clients received various family planning services, out of which 60 received implant and 2 received IUCD services. Interestingly, 57.8% out of the total client were adolescents aged 15 to 19.
 
The similar camps were also organized in Sarlahi district. The camps were organized in Aachalgadh, Sisutiya, Kaudena and Malangwa. A total of 1094 people received different family planning services in the camps.
